The Orvis Men’s PRO Zipper Stockingfoot Chest Waders are exactly what male fly anglers the world over have been waiting for technology to make possible. The TIZIP Masterseal waterproof zipper withstood more than 200 days of testing. Yes, the zipper is waterproof and convenient, the waders are comfortable and reliable. Orvis states that the PRO Zipper Wader is the most durable and abrasion-resistant wader it has ever constructed, and with more integrated features than anything it has built previously. Four layers of an exclusive 100% CORDURA fabric in the upper portion and five layers in the lower resist wear-and-tear. You will appreciate the fleece-lined hand-warmer pockets, a pair of external pockets with YKK AquaGuard coated zippers, and a Hypalon tool docking area. Access two pockets inside of the Men’s PRO Zipper Stockingfoot Chest Waders to retrieve fly boxes or other valuables easily. OrthoLite X25 knee pads give added protection, drag and water collection are eliminated with PU cage mesh gravel guards, and the neoprene booties are anatomically correct to fit better. The 100% nylon tricot liner keeps the interior soft and flexible. The outer shell is 100% nylon with a polyurethane membrane, and the chest waders weigh around 52 oz. (medium regular size). But enough technicalities: the end result is a comfortable and easy-off/on pair of waders.
