The Echo Musky Fly Rod is built to cast big flies and lead bigger musky beneath the boat without fear! Echo consulted with Midwest musky anglers to develop a fly fishing rod that can handle such large fish and still be easy to cast large flies all day long without losing a limb from exhaustion. The 11-wt. Musky Fly Rod is designed to hurl 400-500-grain full-sinking lines with fewer false casts. Newcomers or those with aggressive forward styles may prefer heavier lines to help load the rod, while highly skilled and obsessed musky anglers may opt for lighter lines to achieve more loop shape and better distance.
